1. Battery Care:
- Remove the batteries before washing: To prevent damage to the battery pack or the bonnet's electrical components, always remove the batteries before cleaning or storing your bonnet.
- Place Battery pack in a zip loc bag, to prevent any water from getting into the battery pack, if water gets into the battery pack, the lights will NO LONGER work.
- Use the correct battery type: Ensure you are using the recommended battery type as indicated for the product. Majority will be AA, but please pay attention to each bonnet as the battery type may differ. This will help maintain the functionality and safety of the light system.

- Turn off the lights when not in use: To preserve battery life, make sure to turn off the lights when the bonnet is not being worn. Most bonnets come with a simple switch or button to control the lights.
- Avoid exposing the lights to moisture: Although the lights are designed for durability, avoid excessive moisture or exposure to water. Remove the battery pack before washing to protect the lights.
3. Cleaning the Bonnet:
- Spot clean only: Due to the battery-operated light system, do not submerge the bonnet in water. Instead, gently spot clean the fabric with a damp cloth to remove dirt or stains.
- Use mild detergent: For spot cleaning, use a mild detergent that is safe for delicate fabrics. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric or wiring.
- Do not wring or twist: Be gentle when cleaning or drying the bonnet. Do not wring or twist the bonnet, as this may affect the shape and damage the lights or fabric.
- Drying: After cleaning, lay the bonnet flat on a clean, dry surface to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight or high heat sources, as they can damage the fabric or light system.

- Remove the battery pack: Before storing the bonnet, always remove the battery pack to prevent damage to the lights and to conserve battery life.
